Webcam Stand Mod!

This video is intended to show you how I modified my webcam stand.

I wanted to modify my webcam stand so I could just slot my webcam into it and be able to adjust it to the angles that I needed.

To achieve this I first used some online software called "Onshape" which is a CAD system and is available for free or with the paid version!

I used Onshape to design the part I needed for my webcam stand and then using the STL file generated I was able to print the part on my 3D printer.

If you want to keep all of your designs for your use only then you will need to use the paid for version of Onshape as the free version puts all of your designs as public documents for anyone to use.

You will also need to download some free software called "Ultimaker Cura" which is used to slice the STL files that are created by Onshape.

The best part about using a CAD system to design your parts is that it is so easy to go back and change things if you need to and you can see your part in 3D as you work on it.
